Doug Ward Integration has evolved since 1991. We began as home based surround sound systems started to hit the market. At that time the more elaborate systems were actually dedicated rooms reserved for two channel audio. As the popularity of surround systems grew, our opportunities grew with it. Great improvements were then made in source components. Laser Disc began to replace the VHS format which led consumers to desire larger viewing screens and bigger sound. That is when home theater was born.

As manufactures began delivering products to work within the theater environment, our clients often asked if we could tie some of their theater sources into other areas of their homes. As multi-source, multi-zone audio systems began to make this possible we found new markets for our services. Next, products for controlled lighting, video distribution, security, and HVAC control became available and took our business to a whole new level.

Today our capabilities reach far beyond our beginnings, but the focus is unchanged. Our goal is to combine technology with our clients' desires to create environments that help them work, live, and communicate.
